Civic buy - guidance
So, I've decided to move on from Subaru (which I love) to Honda, Civic specifically. Both are reliable (though I get the distinct impression Honda cannot be beat on that front), but Civic is definitely much more fuel efficient and gas is even more expensive in Canada.
Need a hatch or a sedan (large-ish dog), wasn't planning on getting a car this old but have just come across a 2000 Civic CX hatch with only 121,000km (about 70,000 miles I think?).
Is auto (prefer manual) does have AC, one owner, full history is with dealer, asking $4000. Cheap little car, presumably could drive this for many years to come, going to look at this week and if I take to Civic, will go for an SI as second dog-free car.
Thoughts? Things to look for?
Am I likely to find this slow due to lower horsepower and auto? Does Honda auto tranny go early or at certain mileage typically?
Thx much everyone
