Wiring on valve cover help needed

I need to know what the 2 connectors between 4/3 and 3/2 are for. Are the just service connectors or jumpers. The coil pack on #3 melted down and took out part of the harness and both of these connectors. Went to the yard and pulled the same harness, but there are small differences between pin connectors. Any help would be appreciated.

They are splice packs.
