Multiple electrical instruments not working

I have a 2002 Honda Civic EX 4 cylinder

The keyless entry stopped working (not the battery in the key I checked) and at the same time all the following stopped working:

the lock button on the inside of my car stopped working (Also when I hand lock the driver door from the inside it use to lock all my doors and that stopped).

the beep when the lights are left on stopped working.

the interior lights stopped working when you turn off the car and open the door.

Also my parking break light is always on which I'm not as worried about.

any advice on how I can diagnose the problem?

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Re: Multiple electrical instruments not working

Does the AC still work? Usually that quits at the same time as the other odd failures get noticed.
Wipers don't work on intermittent anymore? (may or may not be affected)

Sounds like MICU may be dying or dead. Replace the underdash fusebox assembly.

Check all fuses in both fuseboxes, then search (the forum and goggle) for 'MICU' and 'multiplex' to find diagnostic modes and procedures and confirm it, if you want.

Thank you so much! I purchased a brand new fuse box online for about $200 and installed it in less than an hour. Everything is working back to normal! This was driving me nuts! I really appreciate it man.
