Rep Power: 0 system trouble shooting
ok i have an issue with my system. Once I turn my system up to more then a certain volume the speakers cut out and all i can hear is the bass. I have 4 amps...1 per sub and 1 for speakers and 1 for tweeters. I have it wired with one 0/1 gauge wire running to a splitter which splits to the 2 sub amps and the cap. Then a 4 Gauge wire which runs to a splitter which splits to the 2 other amps. All are fused and it all works until that certain volume. Then i turn it down and the speaker/tweeter amps kick back on. Any ideas?

I don't know your problem. However, I must say "Wow!! 4 amps in civic". I hope you have an upgraded alternator.
how many amps are you drawing with those amps??

This is just a guess, but on my home stereo system, when I have the wires crossed going from my system to my speakers, the system will cut out and make a clicking noise as if a switch had just shut all the power going to my speakers...I suggest rechecking all the wiring again. Also, check the grounding at each amp, grounding is the most important. If this is too novice of an answer, I apologize. However, I installed my own car system, 2 10" memphis pr and a 760w amp and 550mp pioneer premier hu. I found most of the problems to be due to the wiring. Thats my 2 cents. Good luck and keep your progress posted.

Either gains are too high on the mid/high amps or grounding issues. Also, are you using a relay for your remote turn on wire or running it straight to all four amps?

^^ i agree with christmaspie. either your gains are WAY to high causing yoru speakers to cut out or you have bad grouding spots. like christmas pie said are you running a realy off of the remote turn on wire? wires crossed?

10A of current would be far more than the amps would ever need for remote turn on so you could use that value, maybe even a 7.5A. I know you know a bit about this stuff but I'll lay out some pin positions on that relay for you, just in case.
85: ground
86: remote turn on from deck (likely blue/white)
30: good fused 12V source
87: remote turn on output to all amplifiers

^^^^
its hard to find exactly the specs i was looking for. this was the best way to get the most out of all my components. Ive got the 2 mono amps pushing 400x1 per sub. Then 1 4 channel for the speakers pushing 80x4, and then finally 1 2 channel for the tweets pushing 100x2.
And i had the subs and amps for the subs before the other stuff. so i just added on
