I need to upgrade to a new head unit and am seeing a lot more popping up with USB connections.

Specifically I'm interested in the Kenwood x590 and mp532u (or that series) which have the USB connection in the back + cord. My idea is to run the usb port to a "factory looking" location by my cigarette lighter.

Does anyone have a usb in their car for music? if so how do you like it? what head unit are you using? etc. etc.

Now I do have an ipod but I also like the idea of being able to pop in my 2gb jump drive, let's say i'm over at someone's house and they have some good songs on their computer or something..just a quick transfer and i'm good to go.

so please if anyone can give some info or review it would be much appreciated.
