Rep Power: 761 Yes I am going to make these kits. We are still trying to work on some details which unfortaunately are taking a long time. I thought they were going to be ready a lot quicker but it's taken some time to get the correct parts made and wait for some other stuff to ship. Hopefully sooner than later now though.

Rep Power: 0 i saw one on ebay... 160 amp for 01-05 i believe. it was 250 for the buy it now option. i think i might scoop one up, however im a little weary because i got a quote of around 600 for a 160 so 250 bucks seems a little fishy. but it would be nice if it did work

Rep Power: 0 is it the load boss out of Dallas Texas ? they though say that they added a smaller pully so you have to go out and get one that is the right size which is a bummer.

Rep Power: 295 I took my old car to a local electronics specialist, and they had to do custom work to make it fit, I believe it was from 90ish to 130 or so.. (best they could do i'd assume) and I know it was under 500. im thinkin 400-450. for the alt itself, custom work to make it fit, then install.

Rep Power: 0 ^^^ are you sure they had to do custom work to make it fit ? it reads as if its a drop in from the ebay posting. maybe you got a different manufacturer or something

Rep Power: 256 Sorry for reviving a quasi-old thread, would y'all recommend that I upgrade my alternator or just switch to an optima? I'm running 2 TV's 1500W sound system, LED underglow, and air ride suspension? I'm buying the optima within the next week or so, but I wanted to know if that would suffice or if I needed to look into an upgraded alternator. Much thanx....
