Boston G2 subwoofer......... any opinions?

Since i am selling the jl audio with the civic........ i am thinking about the system i wanna buy for the ss monte. I am thinking a Boston G2 sub (300 rms) ..........any reviews on the boston g2s? AND......... the g2 come in SVC or DVC and are the same price, which would you reccomend? Will any of them get louder or did they just make them for more wiring options for the DVC? thanks...

The G2 is an excellent SPL sub, very loud and tight. I would only go dvc if you are going to do multiple subs. You will not notice a loudness difference between svc and dual unless your amp can go very low impedence. good sub though. Ported enclosure will make that thing scream

Go DVC and get an amp that will run on lower ohm's. Thats just my opinion but i like SLP. Im not a huge fan of this sub i have installed a few of them at the shop i used to work at. Not very impressive for what you pay for.

those are the 2 that most people, including myself, would suggest for SQ anyway, so you're off to a good start...

If you have the amplifier power, go G2. I used an old Boston Pro 12 for years and it still sounded great when I got rid of it. Excellent build quality
