Rep Power: 0 yeah. MB Quart is not made by Rockford, they are just owned by the company. They are still 2 completely different products. MB Quart is much higher quality and more expensive at that.

Rep Power: 0 Yeah, I was just trying to let everyone know that Rockford isn't all that down and out with their products. I have been a devoted RF fan since I first purchased my 200ix DSM and punch subs way back in the day. Still have the amp, but the subs are toast. They must be doing something right if they can buy out MB Quart. Can't agree with you anymore on the price of the Quarts, but got to have the best!

Rep Power: 0 Product Loyalties are pointless in this game ..Unless they sponsor you. I Buy the best for what I can afford and Hols no brand Loyalties. Companies arealwyas getting bought out. Rockford Also owns Lighting audio
A/D/S Owns Orion and used to Own PPI, But PPI was now bought out by another company. C/D/T is owned by Orion who became independant of A/D/S/... It's worse than F$%kin soap opera.......My Opinion is and always has been.. Listen only wiht your ears.. not with pride loyalty or money...
Cheers

Rep Power: 0 I agree buying what you can afford, but loyalty plays a major factor. I don't see how it can be pointless. I have always lived by buy the best and top of the line. It hasn't failed me yet. I think that the only disappointment would be if you found it cheaper somewhere else. I mean you are loyal to Eclipse right?

Rep Power: 0 2k1civic, Rockford definetely went on a downward slope after their older punch series. Never liked the design of the heatsink(black and silver). That would explain why MTX's amps were becoming a lot better. I still have my old 200ix and it still pounds for a 100 x 2 mid 90's amp. Hopefully their new line will be just as good, if not I'll have to pick up some US Amps.
