Rep Power: 0 what should I set my crossovers at?
I currently have a pioneer 9300(internal crossovers) and I am adding Infinity Reference Series 605cs 6.5" for the front, and also Infinity Kappa 693.3i 6X9 for the back. I was wondering what would be the optimal crossover settings for this set up in my coupe. I know there probably isn't any right answer, but what would you guys set yours for if you had this set-up?
Also, Will I want to change these crossover settings when I get my JLw3?
Thanx,
Aaron

Rep Power: 0 Slickwilly.. Highpass both at about 90Hz... What are the setting options on the HU?...do not cross them over any higher that 100.... Are you running subs?.. If not. let the rears run full range.. cross the fronts at 90-100hz..should about do it.

Rep Power: 0 I depends on what your prefs are. I usually have my subs at <60Hz. I don't really like them reproducing that low end mid bass. Example DXM's Stop Being Greedy, this songs has a progressive bass note that starts low and ends up around 80Hz. When I set my subs above this, I don't really like the effect, like those cheap-*** combination home 'systems' that come with speakers. Best bet is to play with the settings with some different test material.
