Rep Power: 0 Do not buy the new punch series amps
They get way too hot too easily, my gain isnt even set halfway on my p500.2 and it gets toasting hot within 20 minutes of playing time and i dont even turn the music up to high........ so im gettin rid of it......... i have a p3 15 inch sub (500 rms) so im gonna go with the kicker kx500.2 and see how that goes, plus its is rated at 13.8 volts so i guess its a plus! haha

Rep Power: 264 I Have My P6001bd Maxed Out All Day. It Never Cuts Off And My Travel Time To And From Work Is 1 Hour. But When I Worked For A Car Audio Shop We Sent Back About 5 P5002 In 1 Week I Would Say Those In Particular Suck. But Do You Have Your Sub Running At 8 Or 2 Ohms? You Really Want A 1 Ch Amp Bro. Because You Have The Amp Tryin To Hard Get A 6001 Bd.

Rep Power: 295 at one point I was between amps but had 2 12s, 300rms each, and I was running both of em with my 360.2, so about 360rms MAX, and that thing would practically burn your hand, but it never had any shutting off probs, or anything.. worked fine, was just really hot. it was a 2001ish punch line, my friend now has it to power 2 10w0 JLs, and he's had no probs either he drives 3hrs each way from school to home.
