Box for subs?

Hey guys...i have 3 jl audio w6 12's that i want to put in my 01 dx civic coupe...they hit best ive hear off of 1.25 cubic feet of air a piece....im putting a 1500 watt mtx class d mono amp to them and will have a 600 watt directed 4 channel pushing polk audio mids and highs...what my question is...CAN ANYONE HELP WITH A SUB BOX DESIGN??? id like to have two firing towards the center rear of the trunk on the outsides some...and one in the middle firing towards the middle of the trunk....im not sure of box sizes....and if this is even a good setup for the direction of the speakers...im comming from a custom dodge dakots to this civic and the stereo setup between the two just baffles me...lol ....any suggs would be GREAT...thanx guys!!!!

I would look into talking to the dealer you bought the subs from. Not only will they have great box building tips, but they might have something from JL that is designed to work just right. A friend of mine had a setup like yours with 3 12" JL's and it was setup like a D shape with the long flat side facing the back front of the car and the subs firing towards the rear.

only problem with that is you will get cancellation from your waves from something like that, it would be ideal to have them fire all side by side, but second to that is to the suggestion above

Use the Thiele-Small Parameters to make a box tuned for whatever frequency you want..
