Focals, Diamond Audio, JL

I currently have Infinity 605cs components speakers which I haven't had a problem with but I don't think they have the best midbass sound. Between focals Diamond, and JL which ones have the best midbass and which one will fit easily in the door with out modifications? Thanks!

none will fit easy into the door, all have big ol magnets. ive only heard jl's and focals, and both have quite strong midbass. the JL's and focal's are pure opposites in teh high range though. jl is very very smooth, mellow, a pretty sounding speaker. focal is loud, crisp as a ****, and some call it straight up harsh. both are top quality speakers, both are worth the price, but its basically if you like smooth mellow sound or hardcore crispyness.

diamonds.....are insane....but if u are happy witht he 605 why not go to the kappa or the kappa perfect....infinty are made to be crisp and clean....not known for bass. Though it sounds tacky the momo polks have a great mix of highs and mid bass. Check those out! and if u sell ur 605 i got dibs!

I personally like the JL XR's... The mid bass is very impressive!

Personally, I have the Diamond Audio Hexs, and they sound absolutly incredible. However, making them fit was a bitch, but well worth the effort.

with diamonds, you need to get the M6 or HEX to get good midbass response, the M3's dont have much midbass.
with JL, all of there speakers have great midbass, but in my honest opinion, i dont like the sound of ANY of there speakers much, even the XR's, they dont impress me (considering how great there amps and subs are, i thought there speakers would be good to)
focals, well, the only focals i heard are polyglass, and i didn't like that at all, i think they bring shame to the focal name. a buddy of mine said that the polykevlars and utopias are sweet, but they are costly.
go for the M6/HEX, or the polykevlar/utopias, but listen to the JL's first, you might like them.
