Best 6x9's
I really know nothing about car audio and this is my first post about it in over 600...
I blew my rear speakers in my Si/EX coupe (2001) and i need to replace them? what is good kind to get? value and quality wise...i know some of the stores around here will try and rip me off cuase i know so little..haha...i hate that feeling...i tried a search but i'm not sure what to search for..thanks for the help
one more thing...i assume that the honda factory speakers are crappy, so will i get better, louder sound if i replace them with higher quality ones like i am planning to do? these may seem like newb questions...but it's because they are!!
thanks again
edit: if you're going to tell me to search, please tell me what to search for!!

hehe best 6x9's are no 6x9's and thats the truth, they add almost nothing to your sound but filler, which is good when you have stock crap pioneers up front, but when you have good components up front you really dont need your 6x9s and actually if you also have sub(s) its good to use thos empty spots over your ports (yes take them out, not having them is better than keeping the stock ones in or replacing with expensive aftermarket ones)

I'd love to know too - I replaced my stock radio with a Pioneer DEH-P6300 and need something that's much better than stock. I'm not looking to go nuts, no amps or sub box...just a set of front and rear replacements with as little distortion in the bass at decent levels as possible that will last a while...any suggestions for me too???
Boston , Diamond , or MB Quart. Diamond and Boston are a little power hungry so if your not going to run amps these are a bad bye . MB Quart sound awesome dont require alot of power I recomend these high end speakers because someone said that they were not running a sub . and this way you could have the lower bass y our looking for without distorsion since there alot better constructed may cost a little more than Rockford or Infinity but your ears will love you more for spending the money
I'm running Alpine in mine right now but me and my friend are redo my whole systems with all mb quarts. We jsut dropped a new alpine head unit in my car and it made my system sound so much better over the pioneer that i was running before. So if yall want a good sounding system then yall need to get a great head unit.
What kind of component set can I get for the front that will fit with no modifications and that can handle lots of power. Also what kind of 6x9s can I put that will handle lots of power and will fit with no modifications. I don't want the magnets hitting the bar for the trunk.

I just swapped out a set of rears from a 7th gen into my 6th gen, and they were identical...my speakers are identical to the ones in any store, so you won't have a problem finding ones that fit...
