Any way to leave the 12v adapater on When cars off?
Well, it would be handy if I could leave my celly in the car sometimes to charge while im out without the engine being on. Is this a possible mod?

My ford contour does it stock, meh be a decent little mod

Hard wire it straight to the battery. Either through connecting direct to battery, or through a constant wire.

Use a 30amp relay and wire it in.

Would the civic be smart enough to stop giving it power when say it hit a charge where it could not start the car?

No. The battery doesn't have anything built in like that. Has nothing to do with the car.
