Somthin strange happening with my system help!

Hi all, My car is in the body shop and is almost done. Before it went in I notice something strange every time I turned my system up volume at 25 or up it will play shut off for a little and then play again and will keep happening if I don't turn it under 25. I am like what the F*** is goin on??? Does anyone know? I am runnin a Kenwood touch screen ( forgot the mode) with 2 alpine type-R 10s Type-R components and a V12 alpine amp ( the smaller one).

Thanks for all help! Joe

amp is going into protect.

if it happens afer play for a little while, its probbaly overheat protection.

if it happens with teh amp cold, its probbaly overcurrent protection, or clipping protection.

in the case of overheat, retuning or active cooling can help.

in the case of overcurrent or clipping, retuning or new equipment is a must for prevention

good luck

The funny thing is I had my amp disconnected along with my subs because I am doing work in the trunk. The wires are touching and I wrapped each one with electrical tape. Could this be my problem?

Most likely crossed wires. This happened when I reinstalled my amp and subs. When the bass would hit, the vibration would cause wires to cross and cut out the system.
