Is there another way...HU reloc.

I was wondering if there was anyone who has diy'd the relocation of the HU to the sig lighter spot just above the cupholders.......and is there a way to do it w/o fiberglassing casue fiberglassing doesnt match the interior (center council) at all........if there is something to buy or make i'd be willing to try but i was just wondering.....i ask becasue i want to try this to get rid of that horrible glare but im not quite sure how to.....and you cant just drill and place cause it would hang over like an inch from the stock peice.....so any ideas or input would be great........thanks...
