need advice

im looking to add 6.5" compenest to my car, along with new 6x9".
i dont want to get a seperate amp to power them, if i can just power them with my pioneer deck, it would save me some nice cash

or would it be more worthwhile to power my stock speakers with a clean amp instead of replacing the speakers

i also have 2 JBL 10" subs in the trunk with a JBL 300.1 amp as well.

any suggestions?

Stock speakers suck ***!!! Replace them and just buy another amp
big enough to push them. Too easy.

You can probably get speakers and just power them with the pioneer deck, but you'd definately be happier with an amp pushing them. Most good speakers require more power to be more efficient, but you can definately do it and it should sound decent.

what could i get for under $600 canadian which would need to include 6.5" components, 6x9s and an amp to power it all

i already have a set of subs, so these speakers would be more for the highs, rather then much bass

id reccomend spending that money on a set of front speakers and an amp, then eventually getting some rears and running them off deck power

the best speakers are the ones you think sounds best. go ot a shop and listen to some, and pick the ones you like most in your price range. a decently sized 2 channel amp isnt all that expensive either

Just don't amp the stock speakers! They can't handle any power.

I second the ... get good fronts and amp them. Then replace the rears later if you even think you need them. Run the rears off deck power.
