'07 Civic engine swap

Hello, new here and looking forward to learning.

I have a 2007 civic lx.

I have been reading about possibly doing a swap for a k20a engine. Can anyone give me estimates on what I would be paying for parts and labor?

Also, unfortunately the car is an automatic. I would like convert it to manual. Would this be part of the process when swapping the engine?

How much would a transmission conversion like that cost alone (leaving the same engine)?

Thanks in advance for any help and insights you may give.

Auto-to-manual swap alone.. $3-4k

K20a swap, around $6k.

Re: '07 Civic engine swap

Those were VERY conservative numbers without after-market parts..

Unless you have money to burn then a k20a swap is really out of most people's league unfortunately, prices are finally starting to come down a bit though..
