and every single one of them say they're the best.
DC or Neuspeed? Neuspeed boasts 40% reduction in throw while the DC boasts 45%-50%. Which is the better quality though? I'd like someone who has had their hands on the products to shed some light.
TIA

DC and Neuspeed both suck.......they aren't even REAL short shifters.
They are short shift ADAPTERS.
If you want a REAL short shifter get the REVO Short Shifter with KumoSport Bushings and Grey's SS Upgrade Kit V2.

I got the revo short shifter and I like it. Its a complete short shifter. Also if you get it pm Grey and for $6 buy his upgrade kit which includes washers and pins which are better than the stock and pm Capyoda and buy his bushings for $16. Dont use the rubber stock ones. They suck. Any other questions just ask.

Not too long. If I was doing it it would take maybe 1 hour and change. I remember the first time I installed one (I've installed three so far) it took me maybe two hours.

I have a question that is somewhat related....
when taking off the rear part of the center console, which direction do you pull? I plan to get a Revo ss soon.

does anyone have any updates if capyoda gots any bushings in again? I want to order it soon, but I dont want to buy the shifter until everything I need (want) to install it is available. I know I could buy the kumosport ones, but I dont a see a reason to pay almost twice as much for the same functionality.

I could have installed it faster, but didn't have the proper tools, so my friend had to bring over some tools and loosen the bolts which secure the shifter housing. I got spare upgrade parts from Grey. Contact me if you need them.
By the way, 03's center console has more parts involved than 01 and 02s. Takes a few minutes longer to remove.

Get the ReVo SS...I bought Grey's upgrade kit for that too... As for Cap's bushings, I really still don't understand what they do, so I haven't bought them... Maybe I should though....

i remember grey saying something about an adaptor fitting the revo ss. that would be a crazy short shift tho, i mean not THAT crazy, but still damn short.

actually adapters only fit on Revo SS 1st generation, where they didn't relocate the the shifter cable. They changed that design in the 2nd gen though.
Best bet is to get the Revo or the OBX short shifter. Both are full replacement of the shifter assembly. The OBX are Revo rip offs.. and in terms are poorer quality... you will probably get more chance of getting a defective/poorly built product.. but its also 50% cheaper if you grab it on ebay. Although u can usually get an exchange though.
I'm happy with my OBX... the weld on the adapter could have been better, but it works fine.
As for bushing, you can opt for the stock rubber ones, the kumosport aluminium one, or my aluminum ones.
I dont have any in stock yet, and it looks like it'll take a bit. so you might want to grab the kumosport. (although I'm 50% cheaper too.. and in this case, quality isn't sacraficed)
you should also get a kit from grey, since you'll be needing those hardware if you want ur shifter to performe efficently.

dang it, capyoda replied much better first!
about how long are we looking here for your bushings capyoda? Not only is it 50% cheaper, I would rather give my money to another member of 7thgen.
we lookin at like a couple weeks?? a couple months???
