I installed them as well, i noticed a lot better throttle response and the car idles more smoothly. It's worth it if you have the money to spend on them. I wonder if anyone has the plasma solution coils with these spark plugs yet.

Yeah the part is an IK20 for our cars, I have them as well and they work great. I notice slight improvement in gas milage, acceleration, and engine starts. I think they're worth it. I checked them after running them for a few months and the electrode was still in good shape!

Hi all,
With my stock plug, I need to force my car to 90MPH; but with Ir. plugs, my car can easily go 90MPH. It actually scared me the first time I drove the car after the plug-installation. Highly recommending.

Definitely, I checked mine too and the electrode looked like it did when it came out the box...because when I took out my stock ones, they were all cauderized and burnt up...

Wow guys thats pretty strange that just a set of plugs does so much. Usually you notice zero difference unless your plugs are old, but civic plugs are supposed to go 110k miles. (I would probably check em after 60k miles and every 10 after) But that is strange. Whats the deal with the new plugs? Are they made from plutonium and have 18 electrodes? Ha j/k, really, whats their story?

"how many do we need".... well considering we have 4-cyclinder engines and there are 4 spark plugs... you need FOUR lol

yeah it is weird that jsut spark plugs make a big increase for that little of thing. and no ther are Iridium cores not plutonium, if you want to find out everything about the plugs then I suggest going to their website, you can also buy the plugs from there too, hers the site Iridium Plugs. But I suggest buying them and as u can see so does everyone else that bought them, and I bought mine from Performance Auto Salon in virginia beach.

I talked to PAS and they said they wanted like $65 for em. I don't think that's too bad. I might actually be picking me up a set this weekend and install em.

and to answer your question if SPEED IMAGE does have an online catalog to order from.. ill give ya a link to their website but sometimes like half the link dont work lol. its a pretty small shop so its pretty much for people who live around here. but i guess check it out, you might be able to order parts. http://www.speedimage.com/

oh i got a question for ya guys. you guys say that gas mileage increases? just want to verify this because one of my friends put in some iridium spark plugs into his 96 civic and he told me his gas mileage dropped quite a bit. i know different motor but same principles lol. i swear even in our cars... if two people do the same modification, one person gets results, and the other doesnt oh wells

Anybody live near this shop what would be willing to go down and buy the plugs and ship em to the east coast? I'm sure shipping wouldn't be more than $5 or so. I'll definately save about $15 or so by doing it this way. Someone lemme know with a PM.

Well I have to fill my tank up in the morn so give it a few days and I will tell u if i notice a gas milage increase or not. But if you think about it. The spark plugs will be burning more of the gas that goes into the engine so there will be less unburt gas in ur exhasut and the O2 sensor reading will probably think that there is to much air going into the engine then sending more gas intot he engine to compensate for it. So u might actually get worse gas milage. But taht is me thinking to damn hard about it though. and if didnt understand a word i said then dont worry about it.
