I have searched this site so much my brain hurts. I am having a hard time choosing an exhaust. I don't have a lot of money to spend and I really don't feel like spending over $500. I know people have different opinions and stuff, but i would like to hear all of them. i want a quiet exhaust, or semi-quiet exhaust if there is a silencer. So i was thinking about the B3 Bomb OBX exhaust, the magnaflow, or the new Tsudo (but i don't know much about Tsudo). I hear mixed reviews about OBX and Magnaflow. Please gimme some help!! Thanks

if you want anything that is quiet to semi. you don't want to get anything with the word "bomb" or "boom" or any other sort of explosion connotation.. so are you talking about full cat back or are you talking about just the muffler? or are you gonna do custom.. if you want custom.. you can do a lot to tone the sound down before it even gets to the muffler.... can you get the WS muffler only? i think that would be sweet.. i actually heard that the ractive CF exhaust sounds pretty smooth...


EDIT oh the magnaflow hangs crazy low.. like the greddy.. if you don't have any worries with that kinda thing then that would prolly be a good choice as well.. .

Well i know axle back won't give u any more power then a universal will. I would like cat back. I like the sound of a thermal, as i know someone who has it, but I would rather get a catback, but I dont want to spend $500 on one, that is just too much.

Neuspeed just released a new cat-back for the 2001 Civic EX's.
It's Very nice looking, and the tip looks like the Mugen Exhaust : )

If you just want a quiet exhaust, just get a generic muffler with a nice tip! No need to spend ur money on a catback if you dont want the noise.

dude if you want a quiet exhaust with good performance get the DC TCS!! my personal favorite is the skunk2, buts its loud.

hey why are you selling? Is it the B3? I orderd a OBX B3 bomb cat back, it actually comes with a silencer so even if it is too loud you can tone it down. I dont have it on yet.

 

if you want a nice quiet exhaust go for the HKS rear section, I just installed mine today and it is awesome, the sound is subtle but the performance is great, no low end torque is lost and it pulls strong all the way.....
