Good Site to Get Police Detector?
Always worrying about cops, whats a good site to get a detector, if also you know one that would work in Canada, that would be great, thanks!

Rep Power: 0 I went with Valentine 1. From what I've found, they are the best. A bit on the expensive side though. Gotta order right from their site for $400. It's saved me at least 2 tickets already though, so basically paid for itself.

ur asking in the wrong place man. go to clubsi.com on the ontario forum or join DSCR.net and ask there ive seen a couple of guys have it. besides u cant buy one in canada dunno bout shipping it either. cuz if they do i think the shops that send it can get nailed!

Rep Power: 0 I bought my Escort 8500 detector at Best Buy for $275, or you can order it online, but you have to pay shipping and wait, but on the other hand you have to pay sales tax. I love mine, its saved my *** a few times so its already paid for itself, I don't speed around town but on the Highway its wonderful.

Rep Power: 0 I've got the same one, and it works great. My friend paid about what you paid, but since he sold his car before going off to college. I got it for $100. Edit--Here's a question. When (and if) any of you go onto an air force base do the guys at the gate ask you to take down your radar detector? I have several times. So when I have to go on base, I just take it down when they check my ID, and put it back up right after I'm past the gate.
