Kamikaze header (Yes, I did a search)
Kamikaze header (Yes, I did a search)
I have no found any info from my searches, only found 2 topics. Will have to replace the cat if I get one of these? If anyone has this header, PM me. I'd like to get this. So far, what I know is that it's a direct replacement that requires no moifications and has O2 sensors. I'd like someone with experience with this header to let me know how this sounds and if it's worth it.
Sup buddy, I have the Kamikaze header..and I installed it myself. I think that it is defintely worth it. The look, sound quality, and my self-esteem have greatly inproved. I would reccomend that you already have an intake, and exhaust though.

Improves self-esteem eh? She has been a little depressed. Actually I was looking for your handle on here cause I saw your post on how good the header is. Do you have the ceramic or chrome? Did you have to replace the cat?
That's friggin' hilarious bartkat! I will probably be getting the kamikaze for my LX too. I found that header a long time ago, but I wanted to hear someone's review of it first. Thanks StreetTurbo!

And people it does not have a cat. And in state other than california, and New York (I say these states because they are the strictest on emissions laws), the header with out the cat will more than likely pass an emissions test, because civics are already put so little polution that by running with out a cat you are putting out about the same amount of polution as a chevy or ford truck. And it will pass the emissions test. And also in most states they only run emissions tests on certain year cars. I think it cars that are '96 or older. Newer cars they don't run emissions test at all, except in California, New York or Maryland. You will get a emissions test no matter what year the car is.

mil eliminator , and O2 Sim are the same thing right. I keep reading that with out it the Check Eng Light comes on. So you are saying that the header comes with it and I dont need to order it.

from what ive heard the dc sports header isnt worth the money you pay.. its almost the same size as the ex model oem header. i got a meagan racing header shorty and i love it i also gutted my cat to compliment my i-h-e..
i definately felt a big diff. in throttle response and it deffinately revs alot faster with my combo.
my full exhaust and header is also ceramic coated
