To Coilover or not?
I want to hear comments good and bad. I hated my rough ride with my Neuspeed springs (mostly the front bottoming out), do coilovers ride any better? Give me tons of replies, just a simple good ride bad ride, do you regret your coilovers, do you love them, I need a lot of feedback to pool from. I'm actually going to use it for a statistics project so 4 or 500 will do.

gc = $300
koni = $550
installation = $200
------------------------
1050
true coilover = ~1000
why would you even think about gc+koni when you could get true coilovers for the similar price?

not too many people have them yet. i think only like 5 people the most have them here. b&g are the best ones tho, they go for 1600. heard they have self adjusting dampers, helps out alot when going over speed bumps. i know moocow has this one, you might want to ask him. but 1600? thats too much. NEX is 800. they had a ver. 1 but some people are having problems with it(i think the toe couldnt be fixed or something), so now they're coming out with ver. 2. someone said they'll replace ver 1 for ver 2 for free.

2cute on the site said she could get the B&G for $1195. She said this a couple days ago, so we'll see how it goes when her boy installs it on his car. This setup is almot more street friendly then the NEX, comfort wise anyways.

I've been pretty happy with my Ground Control coilovers and Koni shocks. Only problem is that one of my coilovers locked up to the point where I couldn't adjust it anymore. Ground Control simply sent me a free replacement coilover (talk about great service!)

Q]not ground controls but NEX, B&G, TEIN, they are both coilover and shock in one... they are tuned to work together so its a better setup the gc+koni. they run about 800-1600 [/i] >>
Tein isn't out yet and they are going to be VERY expensive. Nex are no longer for sale and I can get B&G for $1,000 plus shipping as already mentioned. I am getting them directly from B&G for $1000 plus shipping UH.... the ride is good as far as the handeling but, I like a VERY tight suspension and they are a little bouncy for my taste. I know they are not bouncy or wouldn't be for anyone else cuz my hubby and my boy loved them. They just aren't tight enough for me. Shoot me an e-mail if you are intrested. I only have 6 sets and this is a one time only deal. They list for $1,800 so you are getting a really good deal it is cheaper than going any other route right now. 2cute
