Rep Power: 0 i want my car lower
well, right now i'm sporting neuspeed race springs on my civic with stock shocks. it's supposed to drop the car more than 2 inches. with my 17 inch rims and 2054017 tires, my car still seems a little high. i wanted to know if anyone can recommend something to make my car a little lower. and no coilovers please. i hate coilovers. possibly some adjustable shocks? please help. thanks!

Rep Power: 0 Shocks are only adjustable for bound and rebound, not for height (to the best of my knowledge). That means your options are either springs with adjustable perches (called coil-overs here), or a FULL coil-over kit: Shocks with threaded bodies which allow for spring adjustment, hence, ride height adjustment. Koni, Eibach, Tein, and H&R are some of the best...read somewhere that Tein is coming out with an electronically-controlled coil-over kit, adjustable from the cockpit...you'll have to search for that...lazyness is setting in.
Hope that helps

The are called the Tein Type Flex they run around like 3g's and they are not height controlable from the cockpit. From what I have heard they control panel controls the damper, rebound and camber (or something to that effect) from inside. They are some bad a$$ coilovers in general Tein makes great equipment.

Rep Power: 392 if you go any lower your going to need new shocks soon so i would recommend a full coilover kit. because springs + koni's = about 700. pay that lil more and get true coilovers... heard the ride were nice on those... if you do decide to only go with springs i think only one or two companies make them that low. forgot which one tho.
