To everyone who hated my aluminum wing - im removing it
Im not removing it because everyone hated it. Im removing it because it is causing stress cracks near the mounting holes in the trunk. I ordered a Wings West 3 piece flush mount wing instead. I now have two aluminum wings for sale (fairly priced). I also went to Carlisle, PA to the compact car show. It was AWESOME! They say it is one of the largest on the east coast! Now I know why. There were only a handful of 7th gens there and they were OK. Nothing really radical. But the rest of the cars were great! If you live on the east coast, you should go to the next one. Its a 3 day event and you can find out when the next one is on www.carsatcarlisle.com. I bought the Wings West G5 kit there for $500. Now I just have to find time to paint it. I also found a picture of an AWESOME 7th GEN on cashershighperformance.com under body kits. It has dual exhaust! You have to see it! Someone please make a link to it for us!

Did you get the Wings west wing at Carlisle as well as the kit? Dammit, i got there an hour before closing and didnt have time to look at the merch.
LATE BECAUSE OF THE 4 MILE BACKUP OF IMPORTS!

Rep Power: 306 Im having a similar problem w/ my aluminum wing but I cant take it off b/c all the local body shops said that I cant bondo the holes and that the trunk is too thin to be welded.

Rep Power: 277 Yes, I bought the body kit a Carlisle. The red civic above shows the awesome dual exhaust! And the grey civic above shows the 3 pc wing that will replace my aluminum one. I bought my ground fx from cashershighperformance.com at the show for $495. They sell the kit on their website for $497 plus shipping.
