probably get better respond in products and parts...

anyway, I dont think InJen's SRI or CAI are CARB exempt... I think they're in the process of getting the CARB numbers, but I'm not too sure.
But my SRI isn't exempt, and I dont remember the CAI being exempt...

so yeah, its not CARB legal. I suppose if a police officer wants to, he can write you up for a fix-it ticket.

AEM CAI is also exempt too. But since you've already got the Injen, they are more powerful than AEM anyway. No worries man.

Yeah, it's proven that Injen is better than AEM. Saw dynos showing that Injen was only like 1-2 horses better, but also in a different RPM zone. AEM showed gains at above 4000 rpms, and Injen showed more gains from 1000-4000 RPMS. So I guess it's basically if you're looking for gains below or above 4000 in which an intake decision should be made....I'm happy with my AEM though.

I don't think there is really any performance differences between the two, if there is it's probably not noticeable. Heck the intakes only get about 3more hp if your lucky. (realistically 1-2hp) I think it's gonna depend upon preference and the AEM valve piece.

I agree with whaler-
But what's also extremely noteworthy is the person or persons who conducted the dynoz or even posted them. Not being cynical or anything, but faking a dyno is not exactly a difficult task.

Just thought I'd share; i've heard of this from other sources, and it makes total sense. Bias is omnipresent.

Peace!

If it's not CARB-exempt, what are they going to do? Is the Intake Police going to molest me?
