Rep Power: 0 Full Coilovers vs. GCs+Konis vs. Springs+Konis
What is the best set up for superior ride quality - meaning what will offer a less bouncy, harder, and harsher ride? Fullcoilovers like Tein and JIC or Groundcontrol coilovers with Koni shocks or Springs like Eibach and Neuspeed paired up with Koni shocks? I know it really depends on what products you choose, I just want to know in general - what offers the best ride quality? Thanks in advance!

Rep Power: 0 full coilovers or GCs and konis are going to be nearly the same price, so it's up to you. with springs, you lose the adjustability, but it's slightly cheaper, like $150.

Rep Power: 0 TRUE coilovers are matched at the factory w/ spring rates and dampening rates....they are going to provide the best ride quality (compared to stock)......of course with any lowered vehicle you are going to lose some ride comfort due to higher spring rates, but w/ a TRUE coilover setup the quality should still be very good, along w/ superior handeling, and great adjustability.....
in my own, its def. worth the extra 150-200 bucks for a TRUE coilover setup...
in addition, most coilover setups have shorter shock strokes then stock, which allows for more suspension travel even when the car is lowered.....as opposed w/ a spring shock setup, most aftermarket shocks are still designed w/ stock springs in mind, so you lose suspension travel when used w/ lowering springs
soooo...like i said earlier....go w/ the TRUE coilover setup

Rep Power: 0 so your telling me that the only thing that the true coilovers have over regular clone coilovers is the ride stiffness?????? hmm
does it have anything better ?
because i dont think the ride comfort is gonna be that much different from the regular coilovers ......
i hope there is more to it than that??
what about winter driving and corrosion??? can the full coilovers have problems with corrosion??
help me out because i wanna get the full coilovers but doesn't seem like there is anything to much different exept the ride which either way is going to be rough with either setup....

Rep Power: 0 so the advantage for coilover is more suspension travel even when the car is lowered and better ride quality? so, what's everyone thinking about the HR full coilover, with shorter shock strokes.
