Re: Do I have to cut down my rotors when replacing pads?

i think by "cut down" you mean "resurface" your rotors...

yes, you SHOULD resurface ur rotors if you are changing pads... it allows for a fresh, clean and most of all, SMOOTH surface for the new pad to embed its material and clamp.

but if u dont do it, it wont kill you. but again, its only $20ish to do it, and it'll precent uneven rotor wear

I think Auto Zone provides that service and Napa as well. It's cheap insurance. Just make sure you still have enough material. I'm sure they'll let you know that before they proceed to resurface them.

Re: Do I have to cut down my rotors when replacing pads?

I posted some other questions on other forums but not getting a reply. think you can answer them?

I'm trying to get a vibrant muffler. But i dont know if i should get the 2.5 or 3inch one. I have 3 inch piping in my car already. 2000 honda civic ex

Is that exhaust good for a deep and solid tone like they say?

thanks.

Can't say I've heard of it honestly(Don't really know much about exhausts). I would check out youtube and see if there are any videos on there for it. I know honda tech a long time ago had an entire thread for exhaust note videos.
