I'm looking to get a good car alarm....
anyone got suggestions for a good quality alarm and what would the price be around?

Rep Power: 0 CodeAlarm PowerElite serires. The basic alarm is the same, has plug in modules that determine if it can do window roll up, sunroof open/close, and remote start. So if you get the basic alarm, it's cheaper, and you have the option to upgrade very cheaply if you decide you want all the extra convenience features. The basic one is around $250 installed at most shops.

Rep Power: 0 one rule of thumb. the quality of an alarm certainly an important factor, but the means of installation is just as important, if not more.
keep that in mind and make sure whoever installs it doesn't do a half-[IMG]i/expressions/moon.gif[/IMG] job.
