Any new info on those crower pistons/rods?

I remember about 2-3 months ago there was a posting on something about crower comin out with pistons and rods for our cars. Has there been any news on those items since then? Thanks for the info in advance.

Why wont the D16 pistons fit? Same bore. Just the rods are longer.

Hey black, didn't you just answer your own question?? If the rod is longer for a D16 piston, then how could that possibly fit in our cylinder's combustion chamber if there is only so much room that can be in between the piston itself and the crankshaft? (from rereading my q, i guess i'm trying to say that the rods can only be such a predetermined length and that there is not that much possible variation from that length)

plz, somebody clarify if I'm incorrect

Yeah, unless you don't mind your valves ramming into the top of the piston heads....They can be a small (very small) fraction longer which will increase compression and power, but not alot.

i thought so...rods can be only a certain length unless like you said valves ramming into the pistons and to summarize that in terms of your $$$-->it would SUCK

thanks hondaz

A lot of companies make so many different pistons/rods if you really wanted to you could some that would work. Does anyone know if we have forged pistons??
