I called JC from Hotchkiss Tuning (562-907-7757) today and we the 01 owners are getting a 1" (what's that in mm?) sway bars for our cars in about a month! I'm totally down to get me one of those especially since their Celica GT-S is sooo damn tight!

What about the header hitting the engine mount?

Rep Power: 0 << Front and Rear? >>
Yes, both front & rear. Each Sway Bar is designed to bolt right in without modifications and come with urethane bushings.
If 1" comes out to be 25.4mm, then we should expect to have alot of fun out there on those rainy days, huh Terry? Just swap those Firestones for something stickier.

Rep Power: 0 << Our front sway bars are 25.4mm already? Not much of an improvement. >>
They are the same size, but the Hotchkiss front sways are much lighter than stock and they come with urethane bushings
<< what is the diff between these and Neuspeed ones? >>
The Neuspeed Rear Sway bars are 19mm, which is about 3/4". When I called Neuspeed a few months ago, they told me that 19mm was an ideal size for street applications... either that or all the sways they offered for Civics have always been 19mm and they had a whole bunch of 19mm tubing lying around. Then again, unless you're really hardcore into road racing, 25.4mm is just a little bit hardcore for the streets IMO. Imagine fishtailing taking a turn at an intersection? Rep Power: 0 I called Comptech about a month ago... they're still working on their RSX so we won't see any Comptech Sways anytime soon. The Eibach's rear sway bars are a measly 17mm in the rear and a huge 26mm in the front.
