<< I'm planning on doing the same setup, but I think I'll separate the switch for HID and high beam, hook up the high beam and other lights to the normal headlight switches, and then custom made a switch for your HID either right next to the steering wheel (where the mirror adjustment control is) or down next to the power outlet.
because HID need constant power(need time to warm up and and reach full intensity) and can't "blink" like normal halogen does, so I think it's better to hook it up with a constant source of power and separate the switch, so whenever u blink the high beam nothing will happen to your HID.
our cars will disable power from low beam whenever we hit the high beam and that's bad if you want to hook it up to HID, your low beam will have to be restarted often and that's bad for the HID bulb life
hope this helps (most of it is still in theory) haven't had the chance to try it yet, still need to test the headlight assembly before doing my next move.
>>

Good idea!

whoa...I wasn't a fan of those projectors at first, but I have to admit, they look tough as nails in the chrome finish...

They look AWESOME with those HIDs, though...

the projector doesn't use H4, It uses H1 or H3 (forget which one is for the low beam)
just use the same kit for the appropriate H* and plug it into your projector.
and if you mean the socket from the power supply/switches, you'll have to do some custom work there wire each lights separately.

Its plug and play everything. I've got HIDs in my car and if they really do have h1 bulbs for the projectors they should fit the other end of the HID ballast and the D2s retrofitted h1 bulb plugs right into the harness. I think Marux isn't posting back because he's afraid everyone will take his idea. Don't worry Marux you'll be credited for this one!

Are you guys sure the projector(low beams) uses H1 bulbs because i wanna order a hid kit from HIDKIT.COM tommorrow with a set of these projectors in chrome from directpart.com asap. I wonder if the chrome housing would create more glare considering the bottom of the projector housing reflects the light off the lens.. Anyways if anyone including MARUX wherever he is would like to tell me for sure if the bulb is H1 that would be greatly appreciated... Thanks in advance..

<< i forgot to ask another thing!

projectors usually just have one plug that goes to your stock, and then it powers both of the headlights that way, now, did you have to rig it a bit? and how?
>>

the projector came with the male plug that plugs right in to our stock plug .. the only wire from HID kit is low beam and ground .. so i connect the lowbeam and ground wire to the headlights preset wire ..
you need to do abit modification .. like u need to drill the hole bigger and such .. so the HID bulb can goes in ..

now i still can use hid and high beam ... its all plugs and play and ready to use except that hole that u need to drill

mine doesn't do that .. my lowbeam is always on when i turn on the high beam ...

let me correct this .. i didn't do any custom wire and stuff .. all i did is drill the hole so the HID bulb will fit the house .. eventhough the bulb type is the same h1 but the housing is to small for h1 HID
