Whoa, do you guys do a lot of hard riving or what? I have about 15,000 miles and my brakes are fine. What's the typical life of Honda OE pads? I assume the front will wear out faster than the rear... ?

Has anyone looked at some performance pads? What are your experiences with them? Yeah, pads that give less brake dust would be better. It's annoying getting your shiny rims covered in a layer of black film.

I just installed the AEM/Nissin pads. I'll write a review when they're broken in.

Oh, you have an EL, that's why you're talking about the rear. Yeah, the front will wear out faster. That is if the rear has pads that are the same thickness?

I'm not sure what the typical life is, but I changed my pads at 6,000 miles with the AEM/Nissin pads and the stock pads still have 80% left in them at least. That would mean that they could have lasted until 30,000 miles. Maybe the manual says when to usually change them? I don't remember.

Here's what AEM says:

<< Light colored dust doesn’t show on wheels. >>

I don't have any rims plus I've only had them on since Saturday. I'll write up a full review after I break them in properly and I get a chance to push them to the limits.

Daniel the only brake pads that claim to have little to no dust are EBC but good luck finding them cause most likely they are goin to have to be special ordered and the cheapest i found them was on the internet for like 79.00 and at a shop in houston for like $89.00
