Rep Power: 0 Jizz, to give people who are local to the California or Ontario shipping warehouses a discount for Pick-Up wouldn't be fair to all the other participants. If I put myself in a buyers shoes, I'd want to save the shipping as well, but because we're so close, the only cost savings for us, is maybe $10canadian, if you'd like to pick it up, I'll buy you lunch

Rep Power: 0 Sorry about the blank post. Hey I'm assuming this is in American bucks. What's the Canadian price- what conversion rate are you using??
Does this system bolt directly onto an lx?

Rep Power: 0 << What is the average to have a professional installer get this on the car? >>
You dont need a professional to do it. Its a simple bolt on application. We could just do it at my house, and it wouldnt take more than an hour or so.

Rep Power: 0 The Cdn$ equivalent of $300 US is based on th exchange rate, Friday's closing rate was.6283 , so $1US costs 1.5915CDN......Your exact cost in CDN at that rate would have been $477.45 Shipping included......

Rep Power: 388 The one thing you have not posted is numbers! What kind of gains can we expect from this exhaust and don't BS?? What would be the use of buying an exhaust for the sound.

Rep Power: 0 HP gains are different for every car.. It all depends on your starting (baseline) numbers..The 2.25" mandrel bent free flow Magnaflow Catback will get you 5-8% more horsepower, it depends on your set-up..The more power , the more the exhaust helps...The power is the most you'll get from any exhaust, whoever promises more isn't really telling the truth, all other free flow (straight through no baffles)mandrel bent 2.25" system available will have the SAME numbers, the differences are: the look of the system
the quality of materials used, and fit and finish of the system
the sound you hear when driving
and the warranty offered by the manufacturer.

Rep Power: 0 so what's the count up to? How many people are in? are we close to 30?
I saw there was another groupbuy for this earlier this month... i wish those people got in w/ us ... it would be a lot cheaper for everyone... anyway... I'm calling tomorrow morning (unless they're closed for the holiday) and ordering

Rep Power: 0 Magnaflowguy, i don't have to pay extra because i live in cali right (taxes)? I'm iffy about $300 but I will have my tax return money soon. $270 or $280 will definitly make me buy. So for right now leave me as a maybe and before the deadline i'll let you know for sure.
Does anybody have a sound clip of this thing, one of my main concerns is sound. (do not want it all loud, a nice medium rumble would be great.

Rep Power: 0 Hey maganflow guy, i guess the only way to get closer to 30 is if i join in, so i guess i'm 100% in. To get the remainder needed to get to 30 i suggest you go to honda-acura.net. That is the biggest honda/acura board on the net. Go post it in the civic section. that board is for all generation hondas and i'm sure we'll get to 30 if you post it there

Rep Power: 292 Yea it fits. I have a Sedan. EX model though. Fits fine. Heres the low down. Magnaflow is ok, I like the sound of a greddy better, but for the money, Magnaflow is the best you can get. $300 for a catback shipped is an amazing deal. Don't worry about a ticket, cuz it's not annoyingly loud all the time. It sounds good when you give it some gas. For the money, it's an absolute great deal.

Not sure. Hmmmm, Yea I think I have top end now, do think I did lose a lil torque though. He said it dynoed at 8 hp gain. Exaggerated, probably, but there had to be some kind of gain to even make 8 believable.

Rep Power: 0 Hey guys whats up, i just checked this out, this is pretty awesome, this means i don't have to go get a custom mid-pipe and stuff.
I have some questions that are important to myself before making this purchase, cause i can't pimp out my credit card once i decided, (do they take Credit card?)
1) Is there a silencer for this? Or anyway to make it even more quiet? (dumb question but my parents drive my car sometimes and they want like 0 sound)
2) Take credit card?? --> Has to be mastercard, maxed out my visa =p
3) Can i do a pick up?? Don't need any slash in prices, just want to pick it up and avoid the tax's just in case.
4) To be honest I never heard of Magnaflow? As a name brand is it equal to like the big names like greddy or apex'i? or is it equal to ractive, obx?
5) How many resonators are there? Taking them out will make the exhaust even louder i'm guessing,
thanks!!
