A question about lowering and sidemarkers...

I just got off the phone with a local car shop.I asked them about lowering a new civic.the guy recomended H&R springs.Have any of you heard of those? Are they good?He said the drop would be about 1and a half inch drop.Is that too much of a drop?He said i shouldnt have any problem with blowing my struts.I just would like to have it lowered and not have anything go wrong or replace anything. He said it would run around $300 for the installation and springs. Is that a good deal? Now how about side markers?Would They look good? And do you think $75 installed and for the lights is a good deal???Thanks for any help!!!

damn that's alot for installation then. those springs go for 140-150 on ebay. personally i you could do it yourself if u had jackstands and borrowed a springs compressor. as for sidemarkers, i'm not too find of them but there's a DIY at the top of the page

I got some h&r spring on my LX sedan. $300 I think I a little too much I $250. But let me be the one to tell you that the back is going to drop lower that the front also the back is to soft. There’s been some people that have said the same thing so if I was you I would get eibach springs it’s going to cost you just a bit more but it’s all on you bro. I planning to buy the eibach springs and sell my h&r.

I'd play it safe and go with eibach. They're world renound as the best springs in the business.
