the solution to defogging custom lights
the solution to defogging custom lights
a couple of days ago i finally found the solution getting fog out of my lights. all the people on this site says to get a hair dryer and get the fog out, and seal them up with sealent or somethin, but i did it another way instead, much much easier, just take off the rubber cover that seal up the headlight and high beam light alittle so the condensation can get it out, within the day it should for sure come out, because my left one fogged up a lot and then did it and it all came out and never again, then my right one does it alittle, then while i was in the garage working out i took the rubber thing off and it went away after a little while, so now one knows the way to do it.
Yes, it's an Acura EL

^^good post.
If resealed properly the first time, one will be able to avoid fogging totally. Use spring clamps/clips to close up the seams, then run a bead of Permatex Gasket Maker around it. There you go - airtight.
