Mod a AEM CAI for automatic?

i was lookin to buy a CAI, Injen is just too dam expensive, so was wondering if anyone has modded the AEM CAI to fit into an automatic LX.

i personally dont think its worth it. and doesnt the tranny have to do something with the cold airs? =|

AEM tested their CAI on an automatic and found out that the car lost HP. So if you just want to make the engine bay look good go for it; modifie the intake.

doesn't look like a loss to me. FWIW though....the short ram makes better #s for the A/T then the CAI or V2

people always say aem suks but they got dynos to prove and i know i got better top end on my intake so if u really want to do it go for it
