Spark Plug Wires

I know there arent any spark plug wires out for the 7th gens yet, but does anyone know when there will be? or know of someone that will be soon? i think wires would be a very good iginiton mod for us if we had them. Also, anyone know of any other ignition mods that would be good?

We don't have plug wires. Haven't you ever looked under you're own hood? Its coil on plug ignition.

Okay, I think it should be obvious, but with a coil on plug ignition, upgrades consist of coils, and plugs.

So what, its the first Civic with coil on plug ignition too, and I think it tells you about the system in the manual, but who the hell would think of reading that thing right?

It should be pretty obvious what you can upgrade...
no wires means no distributor, so there's no cap and rotor to change.
All you can do is change the coil packs, but the Ignition Solutions ones have been proven to be pure **** on several occasions.
So get new spark plugs... they're worth what.... .000000001 HP?
The system is pretty damn effecient. That was kinda the point of getting away from wires and distributors. There's little to no resistance when there's no wire between the ignition coil and the spark plug. Its pretty difficult to do better than 0 resistance.

besides, he wasn't really giving him any problems. just asking if he ever looked under his hood.

and he answered the question too.

and me, I'll recommend the $12 spark plugs.. PER SET of 4.

not $12 each.
