LOL. Nope, none. The grounding kit is designed to ground the electronics in the car to a stronger point. You should get smoother idles and starts and all that jazz. It doesn't help with static electricity discharge.
To ground against static electricity, you'll need one of those straps that you see hanging from the underside of some the rear bumpers. I have no idea what it's called, but I'm sure you've see one. I would assume you can get one at a local auto parts store.
yes so it's not just me. lol her damn civic does the same thing. it's so bad some times you can actually see it arc
Is it some kinda defect in the civic to make them retain so much static electricity or what? Cause I've never been in a car that was as bad as the civic. Anyone know why?

nah.. its a daily driver.. never have gotten shocked by it.. had it since august 02, i have 16500 miles on it.. got it with 6 miles on it..
I had a Nissan Xterra that shocked me all of the time, but if you touch the metal of the car before you touch the ground with your feet, you won't get shocked, except I always forget to do it, but it really does work.

just ordered mine, great price considering you cant find any other kit under 100 (not that I've seen), hks is 145, arospeed 120, hyper 160, and if happies basically is the same it's a great deal, the only dif I can see between his and hks/arospeed is his is series, theirs are parallel but either way they both do the job
hey you guys want to know how to stop getting shocked
take off your shoes make sure you are wearing socks and get a strip of carpet put it by the door of your car rub your feet on the carpet and then touch your car or open your door. hahahahahah
