Rep Power: 0 Bluetooth and Pandora problem
Hey everyone,
I have a 2015 Civic LX. I have an issue with the bluetooth that googling isnt helping. So what's happening is, i have connected my Iphone 6 to the car via USB. It's also connected via bluetooth too. when i switch to USB mode, it goes straight to Pandora even though i dont have the Pandora app open on my phone. when i go back to "my Music" on my phone and play that, it's fine. if i try to skip a song, it defaults back to pandora.
Now normally i wouldnt care about this but sometimes when i'm low on data (wife watching too many netflix episodes) I want to listen to regular music on my phone.
Have any of you experienced this?
Thanks for any feedback!
Justin

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one
Re: Bluetooth and Pandora problem
Try delete your phone from the car then re-pair it to the car.
Check your phone compatibility here:

Also....we seem to have more problems with iphones than android.

Hi ezone thank you for the response. I forgot to add more info. I never really had issues before but about a month or two ago, the whole bluetooth part of the car went out. took it to a Honda dealership and after a few days of diagnosis, they eventually replaced the handsfreelink module and i was able to reconnect my phone again. I had to pair my phone back to the radio. This occurred last week.
Think i need to re-pair again?

Note: I rarely ever mess with phone related problems myself. I leave that to the youngsters on the service drive.

yeah i thought i used to be savy with this stuff but clearly i'm not lol
I tried repairing and same issue. I hate to take it back to dealership again. It's a lease so it's not going to be a long term small issue to deal with

I have this issue too. For whatever reason the system prioritizes Pandora so playing other audio apps on iPhone via USB is so maddening as to be unusable. I wonder if there are firmware upgrades that can be done that fix this?
