Hi guys,
I've just bought the ELM327-Wifi to have fun with it but I couldn't connect it with my car. I have a 2008 Civic LX and the app (OBD Facile) is popping me a message
"Connection failed - No response from the Electronic Controller. Is the ignition key on? Is your vehicle EOBD/OBD2 compatible?"
So has anyone tried the ELM327-Wifi and experienced the same problem?

I haven't had any problems. I use my iPad Pro and iPhone 7 Plus to run diags with a generic ELM327 wifi OBD adapter. The car does have to be on or in accessory mode (II) for any data to be transmitted.
Be weary, the OBD port is hot when the car is turned off (not sure for how long, but I know it definitely immediately is), so don't forget to unplug it when you're finished.
Now, I will say that some adapters are pure garbage. Here's the one I used

Yours seem more robust than mine and it is different. I used this one
But you didn't mention the car's year. I think from 2007 to 2008 protocol has changed. And ELM never released version 1.5. All 1.5 versions are just a copy version, clones. I was wondering if some might have used one on a 2008+ Civic.
I worked on a Acura EL 2002 or 2003 tho.
Hmmm

Oh okay, could be the version then maybe. 1.5 are cloned versions. If you ever have time to check yours, you'll tell me. I think weither you are on iOS or Android there must be an app that can check the actual version. "ELM Check Version" something like that.
Thank you
