Rep Power: 0 Key gets very hot in 2008 Civic ignition
I've noticed this for the past several months. It gets hot even if I drive for only 5 to 10 minutes. Is this cause for concern?

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

No concern, it is normal. There is an electromagnetic interlock solenoid directly underneath the key area that can get rather warm.

No, but you should share whatever it is you are smoking.
