Hi all, I just purchased a 2008 Civic LX sedan, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that the previous owner installed an 8 disc CD changer (Honda branded), but I have a problem. My stereo won't recognize the CD changer! The in dash player works fine, but when I load the magazine with discs and put it in, the stereo doesn't pick them up. The CD changer is getting power, because it will pull each tray out and spin each disc for a moment and switch to the next. It ejects just fine, doesn't make any weird noises or anything. But when I press the Disc+ and Disc- buttons on my head unit, nothing happens. It's almost like the system is giving power, but not getting an input signal. Maybe I am just doing something wrong, but I would really appreciate any help I can get. I don't want this $300 piece of equipment to sit and collect dust! Any suggestions? Thanks!
