Steel Wheels for my 2015 EX
Any suggestions on what might work?
LX wheels?
Aftermarket?
I am looking for something a bit more durable for ride-sharing with really poor winter roads in Indiana.

use oem steelies if you want oem wheel covers to work.
otherwise use aftermarket if you're going to use aftermarket wheel covers or no wheel covers.
Junkyard will be the cheapest, I've paid $80 for a set of four. If you want them to look pretty; wire wheel on a drill and tremclad.
Can also try craigslist or similar.

I was just looking at specs on the 2015 models, and I saw (in Canada), that the DX and LX have 15 inch steel, while my car (EX) has 16 inch.
Should I look for 16 inch steel? AFAIK, larger diameter is better.
So, as long as the lug patterns match up, I should be good?

same bolt pattern since 2006, 5 x 114.3
doubt the lx had 16" steels, but im sure 15" would clear the brakes, then get a tire that would have the same (or very similar) height. unless you already have 16" snow tires then get 16" rims

I guess I will go junkyarding for a set.
I am still running the original tires, so those will need replacing soon, as well. So size to fit my current tires is not a big issue.
The alloys will probably go in the shed until time to sell.
Dealers should not sell cars with alloy wheels in Indiana. The dealer convinced me to buy insurance just for the wheels when I bought this car last September. And I am naive enough to fall for it.

Quick question for anyone using aftermarket steel wheels. I need to get lug nuts for these. I’m assuming open end acorn type are the proper type for steel, can someone confirm. Ty, in advance. I’m new to this site, and the info here has been extremely helpful.

i found 3 16" oem rims/winter tires for cheap. ended up selling some scruffy alloys i got for free so net cost was zero. went to boneyard and found 1 steel 16" wheel/w exact size tire. i see a few sets on CL but avg cost is 300+ or so for wheels/tires. some are higher. its MN so winter tires are valuable up here in the tundra. i did find 2 nice 16" steel wheels/tires at boneyard but they were for a nissan i think. 66.1mm bore
