Can I fit 18x8F 18x8.5T on my 2012 civic ex-l?

I have a 2012 civic ex-l and was wondering if I could fit 18x8's in the front and 18x8.5's in the rear? If so what tire size would you recommend? Thanks

I have stock 18x8 from an Accord on my 12 LX, with 225/40/18 to keep the overall tire diameter original (speedo is still correct). No idea what the offset is on them.

There is only like 3mm clearance between rim and strut in front on mine, but fender clearance is not an issue (I'm not lowered either).

My thread here: https://www.civicforums.com/forums/1...do-i-need.html

I wouldn't want different width wheels between front and rear.
If you have odd size tires with different rolling diameters, that will screw up the ABS, traction control and VSA system.

Ok thanks is there any rubbing when you hit bumps or loaded down in the trunk?

None at all with the wheel and tire combo I'm using.

I haven't tried anything like 800 pounds in the trunk though. LOL. Groceries, luggage, 3 extra people have been ok.

Mine is not lowered.

It should be fine. And plenty of people run staggered setups. And since they are only .5" difference, you can still run the same tires on both wheels. Just one will be slightly stretched more than the other, but it won't be a big deal.

But the offset of the wheels is key to being certain. What is the offset on the wheels you are looking at?
