factory steel wheel question 09 civic I recently rotated my tires at 12,000 miles and noticed that there are large and small holes around the rims. Why for that ? just curious?

They are there just to make you ask questions. DUH!
No real clue, other than for weight and balance.
There is a TPMS sensor that weighs a couple of ounces there.
