Rep Power: 0 Loud humm noise at certain speeds from front end
I'm an owner of a 2010 Civic EX that I've had since 24k. It's now just hit 102k. I'm very meticulous in maintaining the vehicle. In last year I've noticed a loud humming noise coming from front center-ish of vehicle, like others that have posted on here, that's reminiscent of a low flying prop plane. It starts at 38mph then goes away as speed increases and comes back even louder at 59mph and goes away as speed approaches 70mph. I'm reluctant to think its wheel bearings as the noise does not occur at all other speeds, there is no vibration and the tires are newish in good working order. I'm inclined to think its a plastic front underbody fairing that's affected by wind at certain frequency? I haven't had it diagnosed yet to see if my theory is correct, I'm posting on here to see if anyone has had this similar experience without it being a wheel issue...or if my reluctance in thinking bearing issue is naive and is entirely a possibility even if noise isn't constant, or any other possible issue.

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

You might rotate the tires just to see if the noise changes or moves
