Rep Power: 0 Engine Mount Noise?
Hello All,
I am looking for some help to identify this sound I hear at random times after I turn the car on. This noise usually goes away once I start driving the car for a few seconds or within a minute. The noise is there only during idle (after turning on the car) or driving at a low speed, once I drive at a higher speed the noise is gone and will not return till the next time I turn on the car.
Noise while driving at low speed (0:07 – 0.12): Noise while idling: Car in Drive, Feet on Brakes (0:02 – 0:04, and 0:07):
I believe it may be related to a worn engine mount, as the car does rumble when I turn it on in the morning and shift to reverse gear. But that rumble is totally different that this sound. I don’t know if they both could be related, the noise does seem to come from the engine area…
Thanks for all your help!!

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one
Re: Engine Mount Noise?
Can't make out a dang thing in your videos.
Some of the cars sound like someone installed a fart can exhaust when the mount is bad LOL
Inspect your engine mount, If it has collapsed, replace it.

My motor mount made a thumping sound from the passenger front side area especially noticeable at low speeds over rough road. I thought is was suspension related initially. Check out my and Ezone's posts on this subject there are quite a few details available.
