Hi all,
Recently, I have been having issue with the car making a loud vibrating type of noise (from passenger side) when starting, and specifically when I shift it to reverse.
I have been doing some research, and it appears that motor mounts are a fairly common issue. In just a quick look, I could only find the top (dog bone) mount on that side.
Is there more than one mount on the passenger side? An upper and a lower perhaps?
f anyone has ever changed these out and would like to give some feedback, it would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Looks like it's just one mount. Here's the diagram for a 4-door LX 5-speed manual. Your particular setup may vary, so look up your specific model.

Re: 07 civic motor mounts
That linked post shows the one that always goes bad and the most common way it fails (collapsed and bottoms out), there's a service bulletin on it that covers a couple different complaints and several years of 8th gens, all because of that one mount.
I just replaced that mount in an 09 Civic coupe late last week for the loud rumble in reverse.
I can try to find a link to the bulletin later on if you need it, but I think I have linked it in posts here before......Search more?

My 07 Motor mount issues..starting about post 19.....
Change out made it fill like new...
Think that lower dogbone rock probably kills that top one. Motor rock is lower one...a heavy buzz at idle in the steering wheel is that upper passenger side one. Use OEM replacements.
